Julian Cope presents Head Heritage

Didn't realize it had been thirty years. I got it on cassette that summer in the US, in between freshman and sophomore years of high school. Bought it due to David Fricke's enthusiastic review in Rolling Stone. Peggy Suicide was the first Cope I heard - and one of the first albums for me that took a while to make "sense." Also one of those albums where the liner notes were an essential part of the experience. Still consider the cassette version to be the best, as it came with "Uptight" and slightly longer edits of "Safesurfer" and "Drive, She Said."
