Vinnum Sabbathi – Of Dimensions & Theories / Here & Beyond. Mexican space/doom rock plus Carl Sagan – a pretty great combo: https://vinnumsabbathi.bandcamp.com/album/of-dimensions-theories

Hedvig Mollestad Trio – Ding Dong. You’re Dead.

Camera – Prosthuman

Robert Calvert – Freq / Test-Tube Conceived. God, some of this is fantastic, for instance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmaOKDJ4KBA

The Broughtons – Superchip. There’s a great article in the current Mojo on the Edgar Broughton Band. It flagged this, their final album from 1982, as worthy of investigation, and it certainly is, a compellingly crackers dystopian sci-fi concept album, which actually reminded me of Mr Calvert in places: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_mryXG8aeCar1oDD6qCi7XUgmo1Kq3xuRk

Sand – Golem. Prompted by Monganaut, had this in my iTunes library, but no idea if I’d heard it before, gloomy Kraut/space/ambient, interesting

Wicked Lady – A Wicked Compilation By Martin Weaver. Wicked Lady turn out to be one of the great ‘unreleased at the time’ bands from the early 70s, and this is a very enjoyable comp. And ‘I’m A Freak’ actually sounds like it was influenced by contemporary Hawkwind, can’t think of any other track I can say that about! https://guerssenrecords.bandcamp.com/track/im-a-freak

Dirty Filthy Mud – ‘The Forest Of Black’. Talking of Hawkwind, and Silver Apples, and Fifty Foot Hose… Oh my goodness: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFAyydSXskE&feature=youtu.be
