What about this ?: https://www.musicglue.com/environmental-studies/products/children-of-the-sun-we-are-the-children-cd-album The site says is an electronic band from Detroit but no trace on Discogs or elsewhere. The graphic of the artwork make me suspect and suggest me: another JC moniker? Anyone knows?

Also Environmental Studies put out the first Dope release. And who else refers to Albion so profusely. Could be a massive coincidence or an outfit influenced by Julian, but at £7.50 I'm prepared to take a punt. Edit - also, the blatant Misunderstood reference, one of Cope's favourite psych bands. Oh, also it's fucking Silbury on the cover.

... and, listening to the single, the accent of the voice increases the suspicions: it seems more british than from detroit... https://www.musicglue.com/environmental-studies/products/children-of-the-sun-silbury-hill

The only thing I'd say in opposition to our theories is the use of the word 'pagan' in the description. Julian hasn't used that word for some time (even explaining why a while back). Now if it said 'heathen' ....

They are not from Detroit. Just the Underground Resistance drum machine!

I truly doubt it has anything to do with him. Ask Fat Paul, its his label.

You're right, and the sleeve notes are pretty embarrassing and akin to something from the early 90's "BEATS, ETHEREAL WAVES AND CHANTS TAKE THE LISTENER TO THE EDGES OF EXISTENCE DRIVEN BY A LOVE OF OUR EARTH ITS CYCLES, IT'S RHYTHMS AND IT'S VERY EXISTENCE"

Having heard that, I'm now fairly sure it isn't Cope and there might just be something of a superficial influence in attitude (definitely not musically). Even Cope at his most techno-y (131 tracks) hasn't created anything that sounds like this, or unlikely too.
