In case your thought is "I've heard that stuff on Floored Genius 2", here is the pre-Jehovahkill Mystery Trend. Different arrangement and slightly different lyrics. Cheers Makkr.

Yeah, I hadn't heard this session for some time and was surprised at the differences between this Peel session version of 'Mystery Trend' and the L.P. version. This Peel version of 'Hanging Out & Hung Up On The Line' is my fave btw. Nice.......

I'm fairly sure, on cursory first listen, that the version of Hanging Out in this Peel Session is the version from the 2001 edition of Floored Genius 2 - but there it is listed as the Richard Skinner session from 1989... Curious!

Curious! Floored Genius 2 Expanded Edition says 'Hanging Out & Hung Up On The Line' John Peel 11/04/91. I'll have to dig out me original FG2 CD - wherever it is? - to see what you say Tippy Wooder.

It Doesn't feature on the original FG2, but features on the expanded edition of FG2 and sleevenotes state Disc 2 Tracks 9-10 recorded in session for John Peel 11/04/91. So, the Richard Skinner jive has misinformed you, mate. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floored_Genius_2_%E2%80%93_Best_of_the_BBC_Sessions_1983%E2%80%9391

Tippy, I think you might be getting your songs mixed up? You may be thinking of 'Double Vegetation', which was recorded for a Richard Skinner session in 1989 and that session version featured on the 'Peggy Suicide' album did it not?
