Obscure References

You know how Lemmy was always happy that Motorhead was the only song he knew of to feature the word parallelogram?

I always thought Upwards at Forty Five Degrees was the only place I'd ever come across pituitary gland in the lyrics. but I've been luxuriating in Patti Smith's Easter and there it is in Horses.

Stay safe.

Momus used it in between, on Three Wars - the last song on Side One of his 1987 album The Poison Boyfriend.

"The war brings new discoveries:
How to make dog fights with your thyroid and pituitary glands.
How the Zeppelin can fly at your command!"
