Joey Smith (Speed, Glue and Shinki) RIP

Didn't see it mentioned here, so apologies if it was, but I just stumbled across an obit for Joey "Pepe" Smith of Speed, Glue and Shinki, who died earlier this year of a stroke. RIP to a great rock and roll character.

That's a shame, I was just listening to them yesterday. I suppose this would have been more well-known in his native Philippines as he had quite an illustrious post-SG&S career there.

Sad news. It looks like he had a great family life, though. In addition to Speed, Glue, and Shinki, the first two Juan de la Cruz Band albums are ace.
