Andrew DR Abbott – Dead In Chellow Dean Fenella – Fehérlófia The Pretty Things – The Final Bow. Their last show as an ‘electric band’ (whatever that means) from last year. Dave – call me David – Gilmour guests on the SF Sorrow tracks, which definitely brings them to life: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfDeHlHwPmQ Krokofant – Q Hüsker Dü – Candy Apple Grey Matt Baldwin – Imaginary Psychology King Crimson – A MOJO Anthology Brian Eno – Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy) Amon Düül II – Made In Germany. A slightly barmy album that deserves to be better known, particularly for this wonderful track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8N3Zqv5TTLE Made In Germany – s/t. Hadn’t heard the above for so long that I ended up listening to much of this by mistake, not bad Deutsche rock from the early 70s Soft Machine – Third Weidorje – s/t. Magma off-shoot which is much more in line with how I imagined Magma themselves to be. In other words, I prefer it to the mothership: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_Fdv1dHvvo Jean-Michel Jarre – Equinoxe Galactic Explorers – Epitaph For Venus Klaus Schulze – Black Dance

Stereolab - Cobra and Phases 2CD Gong - Live At The Bataclan, Paris, France, 1973 Storming gig from their heyday. Edited performance here.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8MOZsFLZ2w Loop - Guilded Eternity Loop - Heavens End Loop - Peel Session 87' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=depT-ATvUwA Think I prefer the 'Straight To Your Heart' Peel Session to album version. Remember first hearing it stepping off a rather humid bus in August 87 on a (at the time) very tasty bright red Aiwa radio/walkman I owned...hell it even had a built in 5 band graphic...niiiice! Funny what you remember. Scout Niblett - Various stuff on youtube Think I first heard her stuff on Peel in the early 2000's. If I owned any of her stuff (which I'm sure I did) it's long since lost. Sound is kinda just electric guitar/ drums/vocal inna early PJ Harvey demos vibe....same kinda intimate confessional lyrics....good stuff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uDlvl7jNn8&list=PL0745E04C1FA2A2AC Incredible String Band - Hangman's Beuatiful Daughter Broadcast - Noise Made By People Must be getting into deep Autumn if these are cropping up.....the don't tend to get much airplay the rest of the year, well unless I'm mainlining either group that is. Coil - Timemachines Stumbled across just enough 'fungal strategies' whilst out walking to make this a very pleasant listening expeirience ;) Black Tempest - Enfolding Light (See above) Coil - Musick to Play In the Dark Vol:2 Ozrics - Pungent Effulgent Ozrics - Sliding Gliding Worlds Primitive Knot - Unholy Grails Guitars have a nice Wire 'Send' crunch to them, in fact the whole album has a vaguely 'Send' vibe to it, except for the usual 'occultist' lyrics and growly industrial delivery. Enjoyed it well enough... https://primitiveknot.bandcamp.com/album/unholy-grails Fu Manchu - King of The Road ..."The Universal Eye Tells Me Where To Go"... Liars - Assorted singles They've covered some fairly varied sounds in there time here. Tarwater - Animals, Suns and Atoms Hard to believe this is nearly 20 years old...where does the time go. Cope - Saint Julian Cope - Followers Of... That's about it. Have a good One!

Anyway, here's mine... Ribbons - Bibio 50,000 Fall Fans Can't Be Wrong – The Fall NWO (CDS) – Ministry Katzenmusik – Michael Rother Stunning Luxury – Snapped Ankles Cruelty Without Beauty – Soft Cell Linval Presents Dub Landing - Linval Thompson The Paralian – Andrew Wasylyk

Funny what you remember. Ha, yeah, Loop were just the fucking business, such a brilliant band. I think possibly barring the Stooges playing Funhouse at Hammersmith Odeon, also the best performance by a reformed group I've seen too. You know, I think I had exactly the same Walkman. Took me a while to work out that the reason everything sounded better on it was because it played slightly fast ;-)

Dunno if mine ran fast, remember it had a decent sound though. Didn't see Loop when they reformed, I'd seen em' a heap whilst they were originally around, so didn't think I needed to go there again. They're still on the road by the look of it. They played Roadburn festival a while ago, few tasters... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8e1is4qg29o https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGLk2HQTA1Y One of the best reformed live bands I saw were Gang Of Four in the early 2000's, killer gigs. Actually, Magazine and P.I.L. were pretty good live as well.
