Barrie Masters RIP

Sad to hear that the Eddie & the Hot Rods frontman has died. They will, of course, always be most associated with the classic Do Anything You Wanna Do (it's pop perfection IMO) but they had other moments, too. I always enjoyed watching him on TOTP. Proper frontman! RIP Barrie x

Yeah, very sad news. The Hot Rods were a big part of my teenage years and Barrie was indeed a great front man. I'll never forget seeing them on TOTP doing 'Get Out Of Denver': how could anyone sing words that fast!

RIP and thanks for the memories, Barrie.

Totally seconded, Keith. It seems to have been a rather sad few days. xxx

The Live at The Marquee EP was a total stormer, and much loved through my teens. Very sad news.

Hmmm, sorry I haven't posted on here for awhile... I'm in a band now with Gary Trainer (ex New Math/Jet Black Berries) and he told me about Barrie just this month. Bummer...
