Once of the Deltones. 81...good age fer king of the surf geetar. First aware of the guy on Peels show, obvs waaaay after his heyday. He played him a lot. Pulp Fiction did much to bring him back into the limelight with Misrilou.

Aww...tho I'd misunderstood a programme I'd watched a year or so back and thought he'd gone already. But he has now. Looking at him he seemed a real Dude and as for that sound...somehow I think Julian'd approve of him though never read as such. RIP Mr Twangyshreddyguitarman.
