Psychedelic Furs- World Outside. First album I heard by them and whilst probably not their best, it holds my affection most. Early 90's production values with some great harmonies.

Polygon Window - Surfing the sine waves

Primitive London - S/T

Robert Palmer - Sneaking Sally through the ally

Thee Oh Sees - Smote Reverser. Not at all bad

Jon Gibson - In good company

Under the skin with Russell Brand interviewing Naomi Klein and Frankie Boyle

John Luther Adams - Become Ocean. Played this a couple times actually for obvious reasons

Joe Henderson & Alice Coltrane - The Elements

Joe Gibbs and the Professionals - African Dub All-Mighty Chapter 1

Jeff Buckley & Gary Lucas - Songs to No One

Jane's Addiction - Ritual De Lo Habitual

Jane Weaver - The Fallen By Watchbird. Don't like this as much as her last album actually which was amazing. Still not bad though.

Jan Garberek & the Bobo Stenson Quartet - Witchi-Tai-To

Stealing Sheep – Big Wows. New one from quirky Scouse electro-folk-indie ladies, though the emphasis is increasingly on the electro. Pretty good on first listen, their voices remain pleasingly un-autotuned: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kv9avX54KAo

Zdenek Liška – Ikarie XB-1. Czech composer guy that the Finders Keepers blurb wants us to believe is an east European Morricone. Some interesting orch/electronics stuff here, soundtrack to great Czech sci-fi film from 1963, re-titled Voyage To The End Of The Universe for western consumption: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msm5BdK35us

VA – Revolution: Underground Sounds Of 1968. Another boxset extravaganza which took me all week to get through. Decent enough, but unlike Bob & Pete’s Paris In The Spring (for instance), there’s no sense of how this music fitted in with what was happening outside of the recording studio during that pretty tumultuous year. Still, these guys clearly had something on their minds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CH6zCp5_Ec

Craven Faults – ‘Intakes’

Mansun – Six / The Dead Flowers Reject. Getting the deluxe reissue treatment. If you’re never heard Six, do, it remains an astonishing album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhEi2cBpoAk TDFR is a B-sides collection (though supposedly it was recorded at the same time as Six as a standalone, more ‘accessible’ album).

Hawklords – Live 78. Ooh, never heard this before, great versions of Death Trap and Psi Power. They weren’t mucking about on this tour, that’s for sure: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Cx6fVrQY4c

Oh yes. Perhaps my fave album of the whole early 90s UK techno scene.

V/A - This Is Trojan Dub ...a big heads up for this beauty which came out last year but I've only just spotted it. Fans of the Island Presents Dub set of a few years back can buy with impunity as it's put together by the great Lawrence Cane-Honeysett who did that too...lovely sequencing, no foot put wrong, cheap as chips. Have it.

Johnny Cash - American III: Solitary Man

Johnny Cash - American IV: The Man Comes Around

Neil Young - Songs For Judy

Bunny Wailer - Blackheart Man

Chrome - Feel It Like A Scientist
