Marianne Faithfull - Negative Capability
Loving this, though sadly fer me, it does have the 'end of the road' vibe to many songs. Top track is 'They Come At Night'. Cracking lyrics and minimal Velvetsesque guitars. Have a listen...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RA0JLQ6TG44 Always thought she was more rock n roll than most rock n rollers. Did it all on her own terms, go Marianne!

Circle - Alotus

Cope - Discover Odin, Jehovahkill, Followers of St Julian
Ode to Wan (Parts 1+2) This has been one of my fav' Cope compositions since I first heard it many moons ago. Great little play on words ditty. Ditto 'Warwick The Kingmaker', cracking song (was it named after the Ladybird book from my 'yoot'?) song ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXqEr7tOi_k

Weirdly, both songs share a similar rhythmic metre, well they do to my ears :)

Peel Dream Magazine - Modern Meta Physic
A Lot like Stereolab (in a good way). Standout track fer me is 'Due To Advances In Modern Tourism'... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jg-bWJ-Tqd8

Watter - This World
Zak Riles ex Grails latest ensemble. Some good stuff on this. V post rock, though some tracks have that alt. country vibe. Esp like 'Rustic Fog' and 'Seawater'. Album https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBjoc9Nsp6I&list=PLZQotpncMsxONXpWqmWayIHS0KLSC_4Fs&index=5

Iggy Pop - Beat Em' Up
Igz goes METAL in fairly enjoyable rock outs. V.I.P. always makes me laugh....

Hawkwind - In Search of Space
Prob my fav' Hawls album. 'We Took The Wrong Turn Years Ago' seem weirdly precient sentiment at the moment.

Coil - Live Two.
Great performance in Moscow. Esp love intro track 'Something'.
Vid of show https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRk4OQQ3_zQ

Discharge - Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing
From Captain Oi records 4 disc retrospective - Discharge 1980-85 - no argument, their best period hands down.

Not listened to much this week. Hope you all have a better one!
