Chilly Gonzales - Uber Alles Can - Flow Motion, Landed, Soon over babaluma, Future Days and Tago Mago. The former two are still my favs oddly enough. Dope featuring fuck authority - Seven disquieting dirges Julian Cope - Autogeddon, 20 mothers, Rome..., Dark Orgasm, You Gotta Problem. Dark Orgasm has grown on me in recent years, as has Autogeddon. 20 Mothers is great, the other two less so for me. Duke Spirit - Cuts across the land Earthling - Insomniac's Ball DJ Hell - Teufelswerk

Stereolab - ABC Music / Dots and Loops/ Cobra and Phases Orbital - Monsters Exist Pretty good comeback album, has all the relevant 'orbital' bits in place, really enjoying it. Monsters Exist - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rts5Ew5ik_w Tiny Foldable Worlds - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CC5aX8OzOI Tarwater - Adrift Stooges - Georgia Peaches (Live) Exploded View - Obey Prefer this to the debut. Shakelton with Anika - Behind The Glass Nice long form workouts. Anika melds with the icy music rather well I think. https://shackletonwithanika.bandcamp.com/ DAF - Fur Immer Coil - Astral Disaster (Prescription)/ Mutek (live)/ Moon's Milk Bonus Disc. Cope - Autogeddon/ Audience With The...2000/ Love, Peace and Fuck, Jehovahkill, World Shut Yer Mouth, Saint Julian + Bonus disc That's about it, have a goody.

Black Tempest - Psyberspace - Digging this, less ambient than I was expecting. Traveller and especially Psyberhead are faves at this early stage. Various - Bob Stanley & Pete Wiggs Present State Of The Union - The American Dream In Crisis. Another stunning comp. from the St Etienne boys. Taken from the late 60s - early 70s, chronicling the end of the American Dream, Vietnam, segregation, family... The contributions from Elvis, The Everly Bros, Eartha Kitt, Mel Torme & Johnny Tillotson are particularly hitting home at this - again - early stage. More of "That Peter Crouch Podcast" Aretha Franklin - Soul '69 Various - Under The Counter (Max Richter) - Still loving this collection. https://youtu.be/S1UeaRCd8Rw

Thom Yorke – Suspiria. Lots of droning and ominous strings/choirs, but blimey, the two big ‘songs’ are just beautiful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTZl9KMjbrU / https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27c3JaZq4_c You Tell Me – s/t. New project from bloke from Field Music and female friend. Not really dug the last two FM albums, but liked a lot of this. It’s that ‘adult chamber pop’ sound, but it’s edgy rather than polite: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AoGf6EgQ6dc Hawklords – Brave New World. Never heard anything before by this Hawkwind spin-off (kind of) band. Perfectly decent space psych, with the odd Calvert-esque moment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwfbReQTsRU Herself – Rigel Playground. Bloke from JuJu’s other band. Kind of baroque acoustic psych, with guest appearance from Mercury rev bloke: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcKB20b70NA VA – Black Mountain Sides. MOJO folk/blues comp, usual mixed bag, though nothing terrible. Good to be reminded of this song by Gwenifer Raymond: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfLJvXNeY-M (love how pissed off she looks throughout) Sherpa – Tigris & Euphrates Tangerine Dream – Electronic Meditation / Alpha Centauri Hawkwind – Space Ritual Sundown V.2 Paul Kantner/Jefferson Starship – Blows Against The Empire. Never heard this before. Interesting, but not really my bag… Live: King Crimson – Bournemouth Pavilion. Jammy bugger that I am, saw them last night at a Friends & Family show. They seemed particularly serious this time around, though pleased to hear both ‘Discipline’ and ‘Indiscipline” get an airing.

Glad that somebody else likes Exploded View, was beginning to think I was in a minority of one.

Going to see the Crim next week in Nottingham..looking forward to it greatly. Saw them at The Lowry a couple of years back and if they're anywhere near as good at that I'll be well happy
