Meg Baird & Mary Lattimore – Ghost Forests. Ladies of folky psych jam together and create pretty much as you’d expect, that is gossamer-light pagan mood music. Nice: https://threelobed.bandcamp.com/album/ghost-forests

Vinnum Sabbathi / Cegvera – The Good Earth Is Dying. This on the other hand is definitely not light, but neither is it dull. Was pretty much sold at genre description of ‘space doom’ – fans of classic Hawkwind, Electric Wizard, Blown Out etc should apply here: https://youtu.be/9thJWGmRG7E

Keto – Blackened Pool

Naxatras – s/t

Ryley Walker – Deafman Glance

Jethro Tull – This Was (disc 2). More Steven Wilson polished radio sessions and out takes. ‘Love Story’ is quite a belter for ’68: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mn4MCu9aEXw

Caught up with that BBC 4 docu on dance music'Can You Feel It' which took me back to those heady days of the late 80's to mid 90's. If I thought dance music had become too mainstream by the time of Fatboy Slim and Cream, It truley is a head fuck these days. For me, it was fun in a field or sweaty club, couldn't think of anything worse than 'raving' alongside 100 000 peeps in some football arena or wherever. Or is that just my inner snob coming out (probably ;)

Nice selection of vinyl. My deck is on the blink at the minute and will only play 33rpm, 45's are deffo out of the question. Prob just needs a new belt, but must get it looked at.
