Never saw them live. Tour kicks off tonight in a small venue in my hometown. No excuses then, got myself a ticket.

Cheers for the heads up, you're in fer a treat. They are generally nothing short of a revelation live. oft have interesting support acts too. Sadly no dates near me, though I have seen em' over half a dozen times (3 times on one tour when Circle supported, now THOSE were nights to remember...if only I could ;).

I saw them down here back at the end of July (for the fourth time) you're really in for a treat as the current lineup are utterly fucking amazing!

Yes, it was a great gig. Small club, around 100 people, short (one hour) but really intense set. Fantastic rhythm section, the drummer has unbelievable stamina! Makoto Kawabata in fine form and Hiroshi Higashi adding his wizardry in the synth while looking incredibly cool (like a Japanese space-rock Gandalf the Grey). There are some short clips in Youtube of other dates, if you care to check them out. No support act in my town, but I think there will be support in selected venues. Lots of merchandise to be bought (first date on the tour), from the band members themselves. Definitely best value for my 10 euros on a Tuesday night. Highly recommended, but be sure to bring your earplugs.
