A couple of weeks worth here... Moon Safari – Air Twenty years old now. Timeless. The Milk Of Human Kindness – Caribou Andorra – Caribou She's The One (45) – Caribou I've also been playing ther Four Tet remix of Melody Day. Rather than than turn it into the type of electronic dancey number that you may associate with him, however, he strips it right down. So we are left with an acoustic guitar to provide a backdrop for its lovely harmonies until some slightly sinister high pitched electronic sounds counteract its otherworldly beauty. Move Through The Dawn - The Coral Sweet Release was a great taster for this. Not sure the album lives up to expectation though. Enjoyable (in an ELO kind of way at times!) but not a patch on some of their previous albums. Also...
