Lots more new stuff…

Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs – King Of Cowards. Second album from grungy psych metal people. Shorter, more direct songs this time round, but still pleasingly abject: https://pigspigspigspigspigspigspigs.bandcamp.com/album/king-of-cowards

Dead Otter – Bridge Of Weird. Oh, this is nice, guitary cosmic psych which drops some rockin’ riffs when you’re least expecting it: https://dead-otter.bandcamp.com/album/bridge-of-weird

Prana Crafter – Enter The Stream. Also cosmic, but more intimate in a Neil-Young-wacked-out-of-his-head way: https://pranacrafterabode.bandcamp.com/album/enter-the-stream

Szun Waves – New Hymn To Freedom. Err, cosmic jazz now. Bit like a less maximalist James Holden with added sax. Good: https://szunwaves.bandcamp.com/album/new-hymn-to-freedom

LFZ – Name Plus Focus. Wendy Carlos style electronica, with quite a lot of the sounds produced by guitar. Worth a listen: https://lfzunlimited.bandcamp.com/album/name-plus-focus

Nik Turner & Youth – Pharaohs From Outer Space. Can’t possibly use the ‘C’ word again, but this is pretty much the definition of a modern, electro-ambient take on it. And Turner sounds like a proper player on this album.

VA – Paris In The Spring. An absolutely cracking compilation this, not a duff track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBPaSUEroWE

A couple of weeks worth here...

No Time For Dreaming - Charles Bradley
His version of Nirvana's Stay Away is superb. Played it loads.

American Utopia – David Byrne
I haaven't got much solo stuff by Byrne and was unsure whether to get this but the single grew on me so I thought I would give it a whirl. Very enjoyable it it, too, on early listens.

Harder Than The Rest – Culture
Cumbolo - Culture
International Herb – Culture
Black Rose - Culture
I had the first three of these already but £6.99 for all four on a 2 cd set was too good to turn down. Hadn't heard HTTR for a while. Still sounds great.

Shadow People – The Liminanas
I've been meaning to get into these for a while and hot on the heels of the RSD 45 I finally got an album by them. Very good it is, too. One number with Peter Hook (with a typically Hooky bassline!) and some Iggy like moments, too.

Everything Was Beautiful & Nothing Hurt – Moby
OK, he's not everybody's cup of tea but I loved some of those earlier albums. This is much better than I expected.

Ferguslie Park - Stealers Wheel
Includes the single, Star – an underrated little number.

The Singles Boxset - The Undertones
All those wonderful 45's on cd. Good to hear them again.

Mojo & Trojan Present Reggae Nuggets – V/A
Really good set. And the Johnny Osbourne number is ace!

South Pacific Soundtrack
There ain't nothing like a dame. Apparently.

Jackie Brown OST – V/A
Wow! So good to hear this one again. A seriously good soundtrack / compilation album.

Also...
In Paris EP – Beach Boys

Tighten Up – Archie Bell & the Drells

Japanese Whispers – The Cure
The Head On The Door – The Cure

Satan's Circus – Death In Vegas

Rite At Ya – Julian Cope
Village Idiot Dope - Dope
Wilder – Teardrop Explodes

The Now Now – Gorillaz

Coincidence Vs Fate – Paul Haig

Big Concerto Movie Themes – Geoff Love & His Orchestra

Where Were You (45) – The Mekons

Blue & Lonesome – The Rolling Stones

Motown Chartbusters Vol 2 – V/A

Almost Prayed (45) – Weather Prophets

Loved these mojos fer a while, best album as far as consistency goes (well in my opinion) is Crystal Anis. You can pick up the first 4 albums (which includes Crystal Anis) fer a tenner (minus one or two tracks- time constraints i guess)....https://www.amazon.co.uk/Down-Underground-LPs-2009-2014/dp/B00UU0LT5U/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1533768669&sr=8-3&keywords=liminanas
