How about a real trainspotter of a thread about fave mellotron bits? Might be a step too far for many enlightened motherfuckers or whatever are supposed to be here. I nominate loads of Warrior On The Edge Of Time and loads of Hogwash. And Sabbath Bloody Sabbath...

The Pretty Things' 'S.F. Sorrow' is well-slathered wiff Mellotron, and if I was only gonna pick one Julian track, I love the Mellotron "power chords" right up front on "Re-directed Male." I had a dream years ago that Sacramento, my hometown, had opened a Mellotron repair shop, which I took as a sign that the city had finally become enlightened or something! It's not the worst life when one can sit in a comfy chair and geek out about such things, eh?

The Moody Blues...I have to keep saying thanks for that eye opener Squid. Don't be put off by their 1970s dodgy used car salesman/bent copper look folks: http://www.torrentsland.com/upload/preview/music/2/6/0/aaf06ef15fdfb1625d45592ec825ef38.jpg Psychedelic wonderment lies within. Acid head supremos!
