Am I right in thinking The Ship is still the pre-gig meet up venue of choice?

By the way, this thread's getting a bit too long and unwieldy to navigate- might I suggest starting a new one for making practical arrangements, final roll call of those who haven't dropped out at the last minute, and so on?
