Hello! Yes, as several of you know I finally finished my book on this festival, after the approaching 50th anniversary kicked me back into action. And that anniversary is this weekend - in fact the storm would be reaching its height 50 years ago as I type. I've had some great reviews and been on the telly (see Valve's link) and you can get the book direct from me here: https://bleedingcheekpress.bigcartel.com/product/pink-floyd-are-fogbound-in-paris-the-story-of-the-1970-krumlin-festival

Hey Hunter! I'll be ordering the book soon myself (cheers for the link) and the ITV feature is great, isn't it? Don't think all that footage has been seen since broadcast? Don't suppose you uncovered any more evidence of whether or not Nick Drake played?

There's a chapter about the Nick Drake rumours in the book. I think it's highly unlikely that he did play - no confirmed sightings - but it's fascinating to speculate.

Not to mention PJ Proby's recluse years in Todmorden. Mind you isn't everyone a recluse in Tod? I bet Christy got some decent material out of his stay THERE. Theres nothing wrong with Oddmorden apart from the rain, The Golden Lion is my local and its mad as fuck,(pre virus I must add). Would Weatherall RIP do a free set in your local?

Was only joshing - I think, from 11 years ago. I lived in Tod for a couple of years, not far away now. The Golden Lion is a gem and I’m a big fan of their current paint scheme.
