There was a bar on the street level just above The Broadway is that where you mean?

I remember after a gig being asked to go to an office I was led through various corridors upstairs. There was another bar/ballroom looked like it hadn't been used, the place seemed vast, old and derelict.
I bet that in its heyday it was quite a nice hotel.

Of the many times I went there and played there with my friends we always had a bloody good time (many people quite literally!).
