Bit torrent search engines
Mar 18, 2007, 11:58
Somebody posted a list of search engines for bit torrents here a couple of weeks back. I tried to find it yesterday but couldn't.
Can anybody help me find other sources than dime-a-dozen please.
Nothing really wrong with that service but its not all inclusive.

For some reason it doesn't handle Hawkwind among several others.
BTW what was the shorten decoding device that could handle the set up at Lost-In_Tyme a couple of weeks back?

Is nobody able to help me with this? Seriously?
Somebody posted a message with 3 or 4 different alternatives to dime very recently.
Can't believe nobody else knows anything

demonoid.com turns up the occasional gem too, though it's mostly a tracker for films, TV series and Apps.

The site I always use is:

I usually find what I am looking for.

what kind of things have you found on these sites? like obscure stuff?

thinking of getting a bit torrent client, but unsure. i usually find everything i'm after on slsk, but torrents sound like they're faster.

Torrents can be faster, plus you usually get whole gigs, albums or even an entire artist or bands discography in a single torrent, but I've always found a better selection of material on slsk meself. Saying that though I got a lot of Hafler Trio obscurities from Demonoid.com, surprisingly.
