Loads of great songs out there! But in one place? Never But these exceptions first come to mind: "Psychedelic Unknowns" the vinyl 12" (side 1 especially) with: "I'm A Living Sickness", "Apothecary Dream", "Love Conquers All" and "Suicidal Flowers" (among many worthy others) "Pebbles Vol. 3" (Highest ratio of great to patchy of the whole series) "Searching In The Wilderness" (\essential trans-world garage punk)

"The Essential Pebbles Collection" 2CD set is a pretty good sampler as well, although the second disc - which fetaures mostly unreleased stuff - is a tad inconsistent.

If you're into non-US/UK stuff, another one which comes to mind is "Peace Love And Poetry Vol. 9 - Turkish Psychedelia" which is awesome. I knew that the likes of Kaleidoscope were fusing middle-eatern influences with western psych at the time, but until I heard this I hasn't been aware that there was also a whole wave of Turkish bands doing it the other way around.

Texas Psychedelia From The 60s which came out years ago on the french label Eva (well, thats what my copy is one) is well worth getting just for A Dark Corner by The Bourbons and also The Conqueroo single I've Got Time / 1 to 3.
