Where Do We Take U? Clearly for a lot of people, this particular trip isn't taking them anywhere. So? Get off this journey and wait for another. There'll be a another Cope trip along soon and...you never know. Don't go away though. Hooray for Julian Cope!

yeah I am new to BD and bought love, Peace and Fuck recently on vinyl and I am loving what I hear. The latest postings peoples have made about Drain'd Boner have not really put me off him I just don't think I will buy this latest installment cos he is obviously well into the sludge these days and that aint my bag. The other thing, even JC would admit, is that he is an inconsistent artist at the best of times.

I think there's a difference between 'slow' and 'sludge'. It so happens that I like sludge (apart from when I'm looking for a toilet at Glastonbury) but to my ears BD's DB doesn't sound that sludgy. Sludge to me is more like Sleep or YOB and DB doesn't get that sludgular to me. Granted some of it's slow but there's too much busy guitar and drums for it to be 'sludgy'. But I can see how it won't float everyone's boat.

I got a tin of Drain'd Boner in the post. It's full of liquid ("Freshly Drained Boner") and contains (quote): "Inbreedients: Doggen (33%), Arch-Drude of Yatesbury (33%), with an overdose of Mister E (34%)." Instructions: "Shake can well, do not remove from tin. Do not refridgerate. Do not consume." Information: "Like all our dodgy shit, this product: * Contains no GM ingredients. * Is only sourced from suppliers who meet Merrick's stringent standards of quality and safety." "Suitable for Norse Gods." "Produced in England for Silbury's Ubermarket Unltd." Just thought you'd like to know.

No idea, Carlos. I didn't ask for mine. You could try asking HH I suppose.
