Safesurfer single - question.

I have received (from ebay) the Safesurfer single vinyl from Julian Cope's tour in 91. So far so good, but it intrigued me the paper that came with the parcel saying "Please note that this is the original Safesurfer gloss bag which was always white, not black as misprinted in the kakalog." ???!!! Can anyone explain me this? Is there any other version of it?

Hi Carlos,
I bought a copy of it on the 91 tour and it was in a white sleeve with the sticker on it, but I recall that HH was selling copies in a black sleeve with the sticker on it for a while (maybe they still are?). I think the white one came first though. Its the same single inside.

Did it cost you less than €9.50 on ebay?
It's still available from the HH Merchandiser for £6.50 (€9.50). Don't know what colour the sleeve is though, as there's no picture.

It cost me £1.50 plus p&p. And it's in mint condition.

The Discogs page for the 'Peggy Suicide' (Deluxe Edition) 2CD says these were "Amsterdam Radio performances". I thought they were Demos - anyone know any more?

Could be wrong, but I think the tracks were recorded for the Dutch NED3 2-Metre radio sessions. One track made it onto this:

Dates seem weird. The 1991 Tour 7" would have been available at the gigs from April 1991. (I was at the Edinburgh Calton Studios Show, but don't remember hitting the Merch Stall, so wouldn't have seen the single. More interested in drinking with the very beautiful girl I took to the show, I s'pose!)
The NED3 session was broadcast in September, would they really have held it back for 6 months between recording and broadcasting?
