I was referring to her inability to do basic arithmetic regarding the costs of Policing and the NHS. Diane Abbott believed if she recruited 10,000 police officers over a four year period it would cost about £300,000 in total.No wonder people simply gave up on Labour when they appointed useless figures like DA. This was a red-hot topic. The Tories were bombing on this... and Abbott simply threw her bag of ammo under a bus. And joined their car crash.
I'm talking about total ineptitude regarding what was a red hot topic at the time. DA hadn't done her homework and blabbered her mouth off. As she often does. The interview became crushingly embarrassing as she simply went on and made up stuff she knew NOTHING about. Surely we can expect MORE of public servants and particularly an opposition who were pitted against the most hopeless Tory car-crash line-up of a govt since records began.

I think your notion that if an MP is not caucasian then it doesn't matter how crap they are in public office is insulting to everyone. Anyone doing any job really.
Your notion that DA should be excused her crapulence simply because she is not caucasian is demeaning to everyone and condescending to a woman in her position at the minimum.
The reason I responded about DA was because I watched that interview in toe-curling disgust. I couldn't believe Labour were letting the Tories off the hook. The Tory lynchings that should have taken place six weeks later over Grenfell never happened either. They may yet come.

The very notion that Morrissey should be described as racist for quite fairly criticising DA is simply gibberish from the Spacebook & Twitter keyboard morons who cannot string a coherent thought together.
