Brand's said continuously that he's happy paying higher taxes, and that the rich should be forced to pay taxes as high as they did in the Socialist '60s and the high-earning French do now. He's not at all happy that those taxes also fund mindless holy wars, and things like intentionally sloppy NHS-management as a means to justify its disbandment, but he still thinks taxing the rich, if not capping their income entirely, is the thing to do. As wealth accumulates more wealth, and once you've got a certain amount of it you just end up buying more expensive equivalents of the same shit everyone else gets, I'm all for income walls. I think money becomes much less abstract and more vital when you consider that £100 could save a person's life. If that's the case then billionaires are, in a way, genocidalists, with ten million lives on their back per billion.
