I read somewhere on here that Bedd yr Afanc is not aligned with anything. Obviously you can always make a straight line between two points but not three.When you are at the site and you look along the line of stones and line these up with a modern landmark( the white house to the west) the line then carries on straight and precisely to the Waun Mawn stone circle. We did this two weeks ago.

When the Mam C and I went some years back now we reckoned the gallery was aligned roughly East/West... just checked this and that's the same as given by Grimes (Grimes, W. F. 1939 Bedd Yr Afanc. Proceedings of the Prehistoric Society, 5, 258).
