Crock of Gold - should be SX612730?
Nov 08, 2020, 10:45
Hi Eds...

Couldn't find this one... for whatever reason. Radar out of sorts. In my defence the 1:25k map is somewhat ambiguous and appears to suggest the stated coordinates are correct. However, the relevant HER entry agrees with Moth, meaning I walked right by. Suggest it should be SX612730?

Jeremy Butler , in Dartmoor Atlas Of Antiquities , gives it as SX6128 7306 so you are correct.
