Gale force 7-9 for the ferry. Very impressive waves and rolling seas. Very glad I took your advice with the sickness tablets!

Fucking amazing now waking up to such an incredible landscape.

Am glad to hear you did the journey ok. Have to thank you for posting here - it was back in 2013 when I went over so it was really good to recall the experience again. Hope the elements are kind and you have a brilliant, memorable time.

Never been up there before. Any advice? Anything else I need to do when I'm up there?

Hey,how are you doing? Long time no speak. Callanish excellent choice - if she is about go and see Margaret Curtis - she has her own exhibition and will impart so much knowledge and enthusiasm to you. I know she has been quite ill and not on the island for much of the last couple of years but if she is well enough and doing her tours again check her out.

There is a standing stone on the opposite side of Bernera Bridge from Callanish 8 that Moey and I helped Margaret and Ron Curtis resurrect way back in 1999. Pictures on the TMA.
When are you off?

Happy memories of Margaret and Ron (RIP) - so good to hang out with them back in the day - love that partial circle you guys resurrected

Wasn't there another one that Margaret spotted from the bus the way back from Stornoway?

Totally agree about the satelite circles - and Harris - happy days!
