Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts. It is 6 weeks hobbling around on crutches and I could kick myself for tumbling down those ****** railway stairs - but won't. What I would like to say though is fight for that marvellous institution call the National Health Service. Brilliant nurses and doctors, of every nationality, the Asian doctor probing around in the wound announced quite simply 'I was born in this hospital'. And as my daughter said, it will be the next generation that will turn the thinking of this country - let it begin soon! Glad to be back, LS is a lovely fuss pot. Moss x

I also have nothing but praise for all concerned.

Moss x Good to see you back Moss and to read your words about the NHS - Hear! Hear! In spite of the waiting lists etc when something like this happens we realise just how precious it is. You may recall I broke my right arm last year and in doing so gained an insight into the frustrations of disability. I also sued the holiday company ... no experience is wasted. With kindest regards June

It Arrived Rhiannon! What a lovely surprise, LS yelled keep the envelope. You can't beat the Post Office or my well praised Huddersfield Royal Infirmary. The address was brilliant and got to the right dept. Thank you. In return let me introduce you to this eloquent man called Ismael, they are out there on the streets yelling and he definitely packs a punch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRNXff_HHuU Should be on u-know of course.

That was a lovely thought, Rhiannon, thank you. Not only was it very kind of you to send a card to the hospital, the way you addressed it made me laugh. She’ll definitely be keeping both the card and the envelope! :-)

Oh I'm so glad! That man is so eloquent. Perhaps he should be standing for parliament. That's what we need, someone who can stand up for ordinary people.
