Greetings all. I will be staying in Brussels for a few days in November and wanted to see if anyone here had visited some of the ancient sites in Belgium. I've hit a few websites which have given me scant info, so I'm up for any news. Thanks in advance, Eric

Hello architeuthis, I regret you didn't get any answers uptil now. I'm not really into 'stones', but i'm in Belgium... Tried some belgian websites, but without real result. I think there's little research on it. Still, i'll try to come up to something for november. greetings, Dweezle.

Thank you kindly for your efforts, but it turns out that my trip has fallen through (at least for this year). I would still like to read any info that you have, though.

Best known site seems to be Wéris. Maybe I'll go and take a look. There I may come up to some english texts also. Or, can you read french or dutch ? To be followed. :^) Dweezle.

There are megaliths in the South of Belgium, notably at Wéris not far from the French border in the Belgian Province of Luxembourg. See www.beyond-the-pale.co.uk/frenchgenius.htm for a picture of a fine "kennel-hole" entrance to the main allée-couverte of the Wéris complex.
