No!!! im so pissed off!! we were in a hurry cos Busty was parked badly....i cant back up my arguement with pictures...shame on me!!!

The feature is an esker , as mentioned in the excavation report .The term is even derived from gaelic , they tend to be quite common in Scotland and Ireland. It is a natural phenomena, part of glaciation ,hence natural explanation.

If the excavation is correct, doesnt this mean that a natural site has been used to create the serpent thang?

As is quite common with some cists and burials , natural features like moraines have been utilised , possibly because they were seen as being created by the ancestors/ gods /whatever.
