Lets look at the choice of words... We need something to describe the sites that need protection.. Descriptors: Ancient Stones Heritage Culture Sacred Sites and something that describes the action to be taken... Action points: Care Preservation Protection Action And possibly a description of the organisation... Group Collective Trust (if applicable) eg... Ancient Heritage Protection Group etc. Or, go for something a little less long winded and more abstract... First Light, Stone Watch, Sun Dial, Stone Light, Gnomon... I can also sort quite cheap printing on stationery if needed.

I think Heritage Action is v good. Also Heritage Action Group (HAG) would surreptitiously invoke Her third aspect. Just a pennorth'!

I quite like that too, but wonder if in the common perception 'hag' is a bit too much of a negative word? Quite like grrrr's strapline too! love Moth

We don't have to present the acronym to the public or on letterheads.... but hmmm, you may have a point. I quite like it anyway and think it's fairly straight to the point. There's my vote cast, for what it may be worth :) Andy

I agree that HAG isn't 'pleasant' in the general public eye, I also have doubts about the word 'group', it sounds somehow more reactionary and smallscale, rather than universal and deeply committed. How about: The Heritage Trust 'Guarding Our Ancient Heritage' (that takes the piss so much i love it)

I thought grr's strapline was superb as well but there's a lot of use of it elsewhere according to Google, so it may still be up to you to stop working and get writing Moth!
