Me too. I'd never thought of the problem of the corners of the pyramid.

Certainly! I'm still a bit confused about how the blocks actually move though - what are they resting on? How do you get the levers underneath? Thick Moth

>dig holes and sort of wiggle?! I reckon! :-) Definitely a very convincing theory. I've seen the guy on TV before demonstrating his method (using pallets) of erecting the stones, and he made it look really easy.

Initially, yes, but with enough levers, you could shuffle the back ones to the front while it's resting on the others... Once the stone is angled off the ground, it should be 'easy' Brings to mind the effect of 'rowing' the stone across the ground. Hey! A whole new meaning to Stone Row :-)

And another thing, when he demonstrates how to "drop" a stone into a hole and he doesn't quite get in vertical first time, could this explain why some stones are tilted? .o0O0o.

Rowing, yes, that's how I saw it. It seems such an audaciously simple brainwave: levers lift things, BUT you can use them to move things sideways, just as efficiently, AT THE SAME TIME.
