For absolute personal enjoyment only I grabbed Magical Power Miko 'Jump' (in addition to the s/t debut a few days before) and a CDR of Sand's 'Golem' expertly ripped from original vinyl by The Seth Man as a gift to Julian. Lovely copies of original LP liner and cover too. What a special thing to have.


Wow. That is a treat!

I wonder what possible change of mindset prompted Julian to divest himself of so many artifacts of past projects, from Krautrocksampler to Japrocksampler and so many legendary Albums of the Month in-between. No doubt at some point we'll find out in the form of new creative work. But given some of the rarities involved, this garage (rock) sale suggests some kind of ritual breaking with the past, a new forward-looking phase and direction in his tastes and philosophy.

Then again, maybe that's reading way too much into it.
