Bill Callahan - Apocalypse - Sometimes I wish I were an eagle. Can't really fault the man. Does the basics amazingly well. Well certainly on these records
Charlatans - Some Friendly
Julian Cope - Interpreter - Raveolution. Already knew how fab the former was. Appreciating the latter more. Mainly down to a decent cd player. Oh and I listened to World Shut your mouth which I still find too much.
Beta Band - 3 EP's.
Black Country New Road - For the first time. Yep.
Kevin Ayers - Shooting at the Moon
Barry Adamson - Oedipus Schmeidipus
V/A - Absolution - Rock the alternative way. Still one of my fav comps.Dating from the 80's and doing what you'd imagine but with a British focus.
V/A Rome wasn't burned in a day
The Archie Bronson outfit - Derdang Derdang
Soccer 96 - Inner Worlds, Outer Worlds - Tactics EP. Electronic music for ravers and jazzos. Maybe.
The Romance of Baba Loco - Cling Clang for Monkeys. One of the more fun live experiences last year was seeing this lot. Eclectic and exotic.
File this lot under can't be bothered with:
Roberto Musci - Melanesia. I nearly could be bothered, but not quite.
