Got back from work and found it had plopped onto my doormat. Usual excellent HH service using Royal Mail. I am really enjoying this series of CD + Booklet, Spoken Word and Archive Unreleased Material. The design and packaging has always been great... but this latest one is VERY good indeed.

I loved WSYTM when it came out at the time... and I really loved it when Fried slid out fairly rapidly afterwards. This latest addition to... edition of... the series... just pours a little more magic onto my fine memories of my own times in those years from 83-84. Adds colour and depth to the period of transition and stasis post-Teardrops. Wonderful. Hopes for another instalment covering Fried might be unrealistic as I'm not sure if much of Fried was demoed. But who knows what treats Julian has tucked away in the archive and his memories of making Fried are writ large in Repossessed. So maybe.

I'll buy these forever. Julian has found a beautiful little niche with these things of marvel and wonder.
