Can- Future Days
This always comes out in a heatwave since I first heard it on an old tape given to me by a friend in around 89', just sublime, and not a duffer on it. (B-Side of tape was an 'ambient' album 'Morpheus' by Front Line Assembly/Skinny Puppy offshoot band Delerium if you're interested). Must have played Moonshake about 20 times in a row, maaaan I do luurve that track soooo much! :) Delerium - Morpheus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZ-oEHkv7LA

Melody's Echo Chamber - Bon Voyage
Wasn't a fan of the first release, so dunno why I tuned into this on Spotify but liked it even less. As someone commented last week (Fatalist?) it's like soulessly crate diggin' a hipsters record collection.

Mamuthones - Fear on the Corner.
Loved the first coupla albums with their weird Sardinian ritual music vibes, but like many artists at the minute, he seems to be going for the electronic/dance angle, which having heard much of it a long time ago, I find less than inspiring tbh.

Wooden Shjips - V
Liking this a lot, though the last track feels a bit like filler. Nothing earth shattering, you've heard their sound often enough, but they are good/consistant at what they do. Touring in Sept :)

Halo Maud - Je suis une île
Near cousin to Melodies Echo Chamber, but cos' of it's more 60's psych pop/chanson vibe, I like this a bit more.

Circle - Raunio
Bought this from Cope (along with a couple of other Circle albums) a few years ago during a previous clear out. One of my fav' Circle albums, it's live, and
some of the recording is distictly overdriven, but love it all the same.

White Hills, Stop Deaf Mute
More drum machiney than previous outings, but enjoyable enough even so.

Various - Avon Calling 2CD
Some good, some not so good track from 1979 with Peel intro. Mostly listening cos' of the devine post punk of Glaxo Babies.

Mark Fisher - LondonUnderLondon/On Vanishing Land
Stumbled across this on Soundcloud whilst perusing the Kpunk archive
S'OK. https://soundcloud.com/user-222190037/sets/mark-fisher-london-under
There are also a few tracks from the'On Vanishing Land' travelog from Lowestoft Container port to Sutton Hoo. Some is like a lost Coil album, some takes snippets and samples of familiar yet forgotten themes and codas (Oooh Laa from War of the Worlds, Doctor Who theme etc....) S'good stuff.

Fascinating author and philosopher on modern times. Sadly missed, RIP Mark.
That's about it. Keep well and soak up that sun. xx
