I managed to track down all of those bands except Groaning Ogres, and like Julian back then, can find no info on them whatsoever. As far as the internet is helping, they seem to not exist outside his review. Can anyone help track down their 2006 EP?
I've come up with the same Google results as you and Cope, nothing to do with the band. Probably someone who sent a disc to him, and then never pursued anything else, or changed their name.
If anyone can find an actual copy of High Vikings, that would be amazing. There are a few AOTM which exist solely in that review, and no where else in the internet.
I will agree, the other bands from Nefarious Artists are worth tracking down. Furze is the most interesting black metal artist I've heard, and Bretwaldas have a couple good lps out there.
