22 dates sold out in fifteen minutes?!?? Well, I thought tickets had been on sale to the subscribers to her website, since Wednesday.

They had but there were some left from that but mostly the v pricey ones and the odd solitary seat. The bulk of the Wednesday things went in about half an hour or less I gather. We got ours at about 9.32am!

You know what? I was in the pre-sale group and it absolutely did not occur to me to buy tickets and re-sell them. No wonder I'm bloody poor!

Ha ha! Good Karma points are always welcome. But I despise ticket touts, which is why it didn't occur to me to do such a thing.

I got one for that date too. Things looked bad when the whole local area was hit by a 24-hour phone outage which meant I couldn't get online to book. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I had to get my brother to try on my behalf and he seems to have the golden touch - he also scored tickets for Monty Python and I'll be going to see them too.
