Only things I've had time for is (right now) Simple Minds Sparkle in the Rain. Yeah I know it's the beginning of their *ahem* Pomp Rock period but it didn't sound bad in 1984 and it aged pretty well now funny enough... And anybody who'd dare to take a stab at Lou Reed's Street Hassle is alright in my book...
Woo: Whichever Way You're Going You're Going Wrong -- Just got the vinyl reissue -- didn't know they were around as early as '79(!) I've had an old copy of It's Cosy Inside for years -- kinda has a bit of a creepy enigmatic quality, and so does this early album...
Also got the vinyl reissue of Missing Foundation's 1933 album. I miss this anarcho-punk/industrial group. Not many other bands have the same amount of frisson as this. Really wish I could've caught their infamously dangerous live show back in the day...
