Out of town near San Francisco on a job that's not going too well. I'm sure I have been fired with several others. In the evenings after a few beers in the posh hotel room, thinking of my family, the best soundtrack is early Leonard Cohen.

RE: Forest Swords - mixed bag, Some is awesome, some is a little pedestrian. Over all good outweighs the bad. Nothing you haven't heard before though if I'm honest. Nice cover though.

I stopped buying their records with WBMFTTSTNE but came to love large chunks of both Works albums in the 90s. PS the recent Cream People tunes sound really good. impressive.

Don't even think of going there really horrible 80s synth pop rock nonsense of the worst order, what could possibly make Benny The Bouncer seem like high art, what could have you pining for the return of Sinfield, why does listening to Nik Kershaw seem like a viable alternative, because the other choice is Black Moon or Love Beach. You know the cover to Love Beach, that's the high point actually the An Officer & a Gentleman suite has a certain strange charm but the rest is frankly horrible, 80s synths have so much to answer for, think new age TD is vile try this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndTnlgHBjTo it's like Dire Straits meeting Phil Collins and deciding that they want to be a Scorpions ballad, at least the Scorpions had the excuse that English was a second language, and what is wrong with Lakes head? stick with the Cream People , they may not be the future but they are certainly better than much of the past http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZywExpmGphk

Greetings from Kezz of The Cream People. We are bowled over to find ourselves being enthusiastically discussed on this most venerable of forums, and a massive thanks must go to Fruits de Mer records for showcasing us on their recent Strange Fish compendium. If you'd like to hear more of our music, you will find plenty available for streaming/purchase at http://thecreampeople.bandcamp.com/. There, we've uploaded about 40 of the 400 or so pieces of fully improvised, instrumental psychedelia that have poured out of us in the past 3 years. If you'd like to know more about us, then please get in touch via our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Cream-People/169453439742280?ref=hl where we really do crave the company of muso's (seriously, we've run out of friends and family 'likers'!). Personal circumstances have conspired against us playing many gigs this year, but we do have one in Derby on Novemeber 4th and have a couple of great festivals already in the diary for 2014. More details soon on our FB page. Here's a couple of links to a couple of our current TCP faves: http://thecreampeople.bandcamp.com/track/kozmik-ken http://thecreampeople.bandcamp.com/track/nil-by-nose But please be warned, all of our music tends to be around 15 mins in length - and does warrant a more concentrated listen, as our improvisations grow organically - as we are dragged up (or down) the musical highways and byways of our oft addled minds! Hope that hasn't put anyone off!! Love, Peace & Falafels from The Cream People, Kidderminster, UK
