No need mate, but thankee kindly for the offer. Besides, Ming manor is overflowing with new music shizzle at the moment anyway.

Toodle Pip Old Bean.

If you're sure..?

What if I manage to sniff out a new band that mix extreme stoner black doom with neo-folk dubstep mathcore drill n bass psychedelic ambimetal?

They are/were a local
outfit here in the Motown

they record or do live gigs
together anymore , i think
i heard there are several more

Grails - Doomsdayer's Holiday
Grails - Acid Rain (dvd)
Nick Drake - Bryter Layter
Michael Rother - Flamende Herzen
Michael Rother - Sterntaler
Harmonia - Musik von Harmonia
La Dusseldorf - Viva

Thomas Koner - Nunatak
Thomas Koner - Teimo
Thomas Koner - Permafrost

Loving these three though starting to prefer the later two - Teimo and Permafrost. But a wonderful 3 cd package.

No doubt there's more but can't remember

The Chameleons - Never Ending Now & Strip. To my mind their back catalogue works even better acoustic... so these two albums are career highlights for me.Thinking about getting Mark Burgess' View from a Hill at some stage too

Jeffery Lewis - City & Eastern Songs. In preparation for the gig on Friday. My gig going Buddies took some persuading i can tell you.

Soft Moon - s/t. Recent discovery of mine. Loverly bit of goth rock

Black Tempest - Ex Proxima. Don't know how this compares to the first album, but liking this on the whole. I think Biodivinity is my fav track. I remember there being a debate about the success of the jazz break on the 1st track - i have to say that it is not the highlight of the album (or a)! So happy to find this on pirate bay... i jest - got it from Norman records.

Hiss Golden Messenger - Bad Debt. Seeing them live in a few weeks too

Voice of the Seven Thunders - s/t

Voice of the Seven Woods - s/t

Sisters of Mercy - Floodlands. Compares favourably to First and Last and Always which is the only other album i have heard which i really like

Wire - 154. Quite like this. Definitely my fav of that trilogy of albums in the 70's (in fact i don't like the other 2 much)

Killing Joke - s/t and Nighttime

New Fast Automatic Daffodils - Body Exit Mind & Pigeonhole

Whole load of quality stuff on your list.

I really liked those two Chameleons acoustic ones too - I got the book, but haven't got round to reading it yet!

Listened to 154 on the train a week or so ago, it's less immediate than the first two but very good.

Must get the New FADs albums on CD sometime.
