Was amused to feature in his anti-blog on Throbbing Gristle on the Guardian website...I did suggest to a fellow music journo peer of his that someone should probably do what Greil Marcus did with a bunch of Lester Bangs' writings in Psychotic Reactions... with Swells varied stuff. I probably grew up on his writings and he was often funny, even when I no longer bothered to read the NME. I do still wonder why Irvine Welsh's name is bigger on the cover of his book than his own though...
