Well, it sold for under $3.5, what a steal. Let's see if it sticks.

CDnow's offices only now have tenant (29million offer)

Just the Mono pristine pressings alone of Beatles, Stones, Dylan, Hendrix, Etc. Classic Reggae Pysch prog punk, Elvis singles, classic soul singles, etc and the junk at $1-2 will pay for itself many times over

Sold to someone in Ireland, Bono? Edge? Does Van Morrison have that kinda money?

apparently, Irish buyer has been delisted, claims someone stole his account to make purchase.

At this point the right way to do this is either sell pieces off thru ebay or go on site with one of the big auction houses.

...and this time its only pre-approved buyers allowed to bid! Hmmm, didn't see that coming at all!

Still, I hope he manages to sell it and that the collection goes to some good use.

Ironically, if you are really in the market for this you are going to Pittsburgh to do your research, and probably will make your offer directly, not ebay. They do not give you enough info to do due diligence for a $3 million bid.

If they weren't so lazy they would be breaking this up and selling it in pieces, sections, genres, artists, labels, etc.
