Had to search back for this! Yes, cheers SC! I do like Stuart Maconie. I imagine he'll take over from Wogan, once the old git's past it. Anyone head that new show he does with Mark Radcliffe? He doesn't get a word in edgeways (Maconie that is). x

More to the point, do you listen to his Freakshow programme on Radio 6? We don't have a digi radio but listen to it through the telly. It's a brilliant programme, 3 hours of the strange and wonderful. Every single person on HH should listen to it, seriously! x |

Sunday evening, 5-8. Absoloutely EVERYTHING that's discussed here, he's played! Album of the week, for example, is either Steve Hillage or VDGG or Hawkwind or Focus or Can or Slapp Happy or Laura Nyro etc etc. I can't believe it's not a regular talking point here actually! x |

Oh goody! Spread the word; check the archives on the show's website and all that. It's really the best radio show we've got (fingers crossed it doesn't get axed - the BBC are like that!). I feel like starting a thread here sometime about it, it's just so bloody good! x

Born in Davyhulme, first home in Hulme. So - if we're talking Greater Manchester district authorities, and I think we are - it's Trafford or Manchester but definitely not Salford. So there. |
