Hey, how ya been, LL.

That dynamic you speak of, the upending of power in response to oppression, doesn't always seem to play out, unfortunately.

There's still a huge problem with those old dominant-male power structures everywhere. In the USA, it's still a threat to progress. Russia seems to be creeping steadily back towards its old ways. China has opened its markets but still suppresses dissent. The Caste system is still there in India, keeping people down, tho 'officially' it's been ended.

I think this is all some sort of deep, animal brain panic... the human race as a whole has not been able to shake a lot of primal pack behavior. What we see in a beehive, or a wolf pack, or most any social animal structure, is control thru hierarchy.... and in mammals, that power is gained by violence. No surprise at all, then, that humans use the same tactics.

It takes a loonngggg time for a species to change in significant ways. Ours included.
