Pretty much agree about Paisley. The sad thing is that what he stands against doesn't really exist anymore.
Ulster protestants have nothing to fear from a united Ireland - Europe is pretty secular these days, and Trinity College Dublin is (as it always was) stuffed full with a southern protestant elite.
Desperately poor working class areas on both sides of the divide in Ulster stand to gain so much from peace. Lets hope it happens.
