2. Starship Troopers 2 is coming out.
I'm willing to bet that the film will bear little resemblance to its predecessor in terms of parodying US military/intelligence and public support for military operations. (I'll buy a hat specially to eat it if I'm wrong).
Right at the end of the original Starship Troopers, there's footage in the background of a bug being 'investigated'. Something unpleasant looking gets forcefully pushed in to it by one of the investigators. It felt very uncomfortable the first time I saw it and it feels a hell of a lot more so now.
