Mind you, I wouldn't put too much faith in the Home Office.

I think it came from the Primates Report by the Animal Procedures Committee, though I'm not really even sure if the APC are HO proper, the HO seem to big up APC press releases.

Any one know anything about this charity? Anything good or bad that I should know about them?

Just need to make sure that the Charity sending out the Cows are going to actually include vetinary care and educational training to the person receiving the cow!! I think it's a fantastic idea... At work we went through a Charity last Xmas and instead of doing Xmas Cards pooled the cash and brought a Cow for a farmer. I'll see if I can dig the paperwork out in a mo and let you know which Charity it was!
